VISION & VALUES

Our vision and core values

Our Vision

Co-laboring with Jesus Christ to establish and maintain a fellowship devoted to seeking the Presence of God the Father; announcing the kingdom of His Son, Jesus Christ; and advancing the gospel through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our Core Values

BIBLICAL TRUTH

All that we believe and do is rooted in the Bible. We believe in the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both the Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written Word of God. We believe that the scriptures are without error and represent the only infallible rule of faith and practice for all of mankind. We believe that the bible has been miraculously preserved down through the ages and today represents a more than sufficient transmission of the original manuscripts. Finally, we believe the Bible to be unchangeable in its central purpose of recording God’s interaction with man and revealing and exalting the life and ministry the Lord Jesus Christ (Psa. 119:105; Heb. 10:7; 2 Ti. 3:16-17; Luke. 21)

Passionate praise and worship

We believe in giving God the glory He deserves through expressive praise and worship

SPIRITUAL GIFTS

Our love of God compels us to seek His Presence and direction as our highest value. We are dedicated to the cultivation of a prophetic culture that announces the Presence of God, deliverance, speaking in tongues, and healing in all ministry efforts as we “earnestly desire all the spiritual gifts” (1 Corinthians 14:1).

prayer

Seeking God in prayer is the furnace that fires every ministry we pursue. In light of the priority of prayer demonstrated by Jesus, prayer is our highest ministry priority.

the great commission

We believe all Christians are called to the same mission – the Great Commission of Jesus. This includes the proclaiming of the gospel (Mark 16:15) and the making of disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). We believe we must be intentional to fulfill this in our community (Jerusalem), our region (Judea), across cultural lines (Samaria), and internationally (the ends of the earth) – Acts 1:8. We are committed to serving the Lord within our local church, our community, our region, our country, and even the ends of the earth. We are especially mindful to care “for the least of these (Matthew 25:40).

fellowship

We value the local Church as the exclusive instrument in the earth to advance the Kingdom of God and overcome Satan’s scheme to keep people blinded to the gospel. Our pursuit of this value manifests in our commitment to continually minister to the practical and spiritual needs of our church family. Our ultimate goal is that everyone become a mature follower of Jesus Christ.
